Is there a certain procedure for adding another WCS server? other than builing another box and importing (restore) the data from the other box?

I don't think there is an alternate way to add WCS servers. We have to import all the configuration on the primary to the backup server.

Understood. But how do you keep them in sync? (other than manually)

According to what ive understood, cisco is still in development on a "Manager of Managers" for WCS. We are running into the problem of reach the capacity of APs that WCS can service and going to need a second box. Unfortunately multiple wcs boxes do not communicate with each other so we are probably going to have to divide up our facilities between them and monitor both boxes until we expand even more. As far as synching backup servers it looks like manual is the only way....
