I use the lasted firmware version (11.21) on a Cisco Aironet 340 AP.
I would like to know if a tool "airsnort" or "wepcrack" can easily break a 128 bits key ?
Thanks in advance
I have broken 128-bit keys in 4 hours using WEPCrack in a lab environment.
However, I have not been able to break a WEP key when the Cisco proprietary TKIP security feature is enabled.
With dynamic WEP and TKIP, it is NOT possible to break WEP. Practically, you will get UNIQUE key per packet.
