Send WIPS Events to a Syslog Server

   Hi,

Today I have a WIPS Server which send SNMP Traps to a WCS and I can see the alarms generated by the WIPS in WCS...

Is there any way for me to send the events or alarms created by WIPS to a Syslog Server ???

   Regards,

   Andre Lomonaco

Re: Send WIPS Events to a Syslog Server

Currently the Syslog implementation on the WLC is not granular enough to be able to specify what error are going to be sent.  We only have a

generalized mechanizm to adjust the level.  You could find the levle of Syslog that WIPS will send, but you will also receive all the other messages at that level.

Re: Send WIPS Events to a Syslog Server

Hi Stephen,

I forgot to say in my Question that I'm using WIPS from a MSE Server, not the WIPS avaliable in the WLC....

Really, I disable the IPS in Controllers and I'm using only the MSE Service with WIPS Service installed
