Setting up a captive portal with Cisco 871 WiFi router
I'm trying to setup a captive portal using this guide by andybev.com. I would like for my router to forward www traffic to my captive portal server for authentication. I found this article on SSG TCP Redirect Access Control List, but from the looks of it my IOS doesn't support this feature. So I was wondering what would be the best way to forward that traffic to the captive portal? Below list the info on my router and the IOS
ROM: System Bootstrap, Version 12.3(8r)YI4, RELEASE SOFTWARE
System image file is "flash:c870-advipservicesk9-mz.124-24.T2.bin"

Re: Setting up a captive portal with Cisco 871 WiFi router
Thanks for your reply. But I would like to have it setup so that guest can create their own account. I work at a center for indpendent living and we do a lot of adovocacy for people with disabilities. My whole goal with this was to have guest sign-up with their e-mail to use our internet access for free. Than we could send out our bi-monthly newsletters to their e-mail. I guess I should also mention we have an ASA 5510. Would it be possible to forward the traffic using that device?
