Setting up Maps in WCS

I've exported my AutoDWG files to JPEG via AutoCad raster Print driver. The files look fine when viewed thru windows picture viewer.

I import them into a floor area, and they look fine there.

I start Map editor up, and they look HORRIBLE. I actually lose walls.

I'm running Version 3.2.40.0

I'm planning on upgrading as soon as I can, but is this an issue that was specifically fixed, or am I doing importing the image wrong.

Is there a recommended resolution they should be? Right now they are 1234 x 772 pixel images. I've tried with smaller images, and it just seems to get worse.

I usually print it to a pdf then I screen capture (SnagIT) and crop the image. I then save it as a Windows Metafile Format. You can then import that into WCS.... or if that doesn't work, Save it again into a gif file. I will have to try it tomorrow.. can't remember but I know what you mean with the walls looking like junk!
