Stopping Broadcasts from AP 1200

With our first AP, I want to make sure no broadcasts are heard from the wired LAN. This is important so the quality and integrity of the Wireless is maintained. Should I be using VLANS???? Vlan filtering? I am not sure what others are doing about this? I am not currently using VLANs on the wired lan, so the documentation is confusing. Any advice???

Yes, you have to configure VLANs to stop broadcasts from Wired VLANs, but if you are configuring DHCP you may have to think about this before doing so.

Hi ,

Configuring VLAN is good way to stop brodcast . Also you can configure the

ether based or ip based access list .
