%SW_MATM-4-MACFLAP_NOTIF flapping between ports on same switch

Hi,

I have a the following switch stack

Switch#  Role   Mac Address     Priority Version  State
----------------------------------------------------------
1       Member xxxx.xxxx.xxxx     1      0       Ready
2       Member xxxx.xxxx.xxxx     1      0       Ready
*3       Master xxxx.xxxx.xxxx     1      0       Ready

and i get the following error logs

Jun  9 14:33:43 BST: %SW_MATM-4-MACFLAP_NOTIF: Host c47d.4f68.c727 in vlan 2 is flapping between port Gi3/0/52 and port Gi1/0/4
Jun  9 14:33:44 BST: %SW_MATM-4-MACFLAP_NOTIF: Host 0019.d29e.563f in vlan 70 is flapping between port Gi3/0/52 and port Gi1/0/4

The first host is actually the MAC address of the Cisco 4400 WLC ap manager. The other address is a client laptop. The two ports here are to the WLC and they are configuered as trunks on a LAG.

Firstly should I be concerned about these logs? There are many of them every 20 seconds or so.

Is there a way of rectifying these?

Many thanks.

Re: %SW_MATM-4-MACFLAP_NOTIF flapping between ports on same swit

What model of switch do you have the controller connected to?  I haven't seen this message on a switch before when the controller was configured for LAG and the switch has the port-channel configured for the ports going to the controller.
