Upgrade to ACS 3.0 for Wireless Radius

Have a client currently using Cisco ACS 2.6 to provide TACAS+ AAA security with a PIX 515 firewall. We want to update the ACS to 3.0 and do AAA with the Radius Server of the ACS 3.0 for the Aironet wireless that we are now installing. Can this be done and still keep the TACAS+ PIX AAA security active? Do you have any examples?

Thanks, Terry

Since there has been no response to your post, it appears to be either too complex or too rare an issue for other forum members to assist you. If you don't get a suitable response to your post, you may wish to review our resources at the online Technical Assistance Center (http://www.cisco.com/tac) or speak with a TAC engineer. You can open a TAC case online at http://www.cisco.com/tac/caseopen

If anyone else in the forum has some advice, please reply to this thread.

Thank you for posting.

Re: Upgrade to ACS 3.0 for Wireless Radius

Terry, yes you can do this, and you don't need to upgrade to 3.0 to do it. If you were already planning on upgrading to 3.0, great, but you don't have to. All you need to do is add the RADIUS service on your ACS Server and add the AP's as NAS's using RADIUS (Cisco Aironet). If you have any problems or need assistance, let me know. Tom
