Hi all,
I have troubles making the option "User Preferences" visible to other groups than Admins.
If a read-only user tries to access it he gets the following error:
Permission denied
You do not have enough permissions to perform this operation.
I made sure that this option is allowed in the task list in the ACS.
Regards,
Patrick

Hi,
thank you for the information. Do you know if this behaviour will change in a future release? The specific reason why I ask is, because I have some operators, who complain that they are automatically logged out every 15 minutes, which is the default behaviour. This setting can be changed only in this menu.
Also to be honest I don't see any menu entry which should be blocked for a non-root user. Those settings only give control to the user on how he wants to display certain things in Prime.
Regards,
Patrick
