Voice Issues Using RRM TPC 5GHz

All,

Intermittent voice on 5GHz using 5508's and 2602 AP's, what's the best way to increase power using RRM for the TX power level on the AP's globally?

What’s the best way? Using the minimum power level assignment (say 11dBm (12.5mW) equivalent to power level 3 on the controller)  or increasing the power threshold to -65?

Cheers in advance for any replies received.

That could definitely be a problem. Move off Uni-II and test

Well before you go playing with power, what is the issue?

Is it that sometimes you get one way it no way audio? Jitter?

When you had the site survey done, what power level did they survey at? For power I would go with your second option, change the low power threshold to not be so low.

Hi Stephen,

I think this may be our problem? An airport is only about 1 mile away and the WLC is only using Uni-2 channels in DCA!
