I have recently deployed a Cisco vWLC with 6 x 1602 lwap in a customer site that also has a number of older autonomous models located throughout the various warehouses on site.
The older models are :- 6 x 350B, 17 x 1220/1230, and 29 x 1240/1242.
It is my understanding that the 350B units will need to be replaced, the 1220 and 1230 units cannot be supported by the virtual controller due to their last support being version 7.0.x.
However the 1242 units can be upgraded to lightweight and joined to the virtual controller, am I correct on this assumption?
One work around for the support of the 1220/1230 units is to upgrade to lightweight and deploy a "hard" controller running version 7.0.x, which then raises the question with regards to mobility and how the virtual and the hard box controller can communicate and the implications for mobility grouping.

This is the start of a display filter cross reference between Wireshark and OmniPeek.
The 1st installment is a table of advanced filters. More filters will be added as time allows.

I have created a Powershell script to automatically add a Wireless Guest User on Cisco WLCs. (tested on 2500 Series)
The script should be completely self explanatory.
