WCS 7.x & Multiple Accounts

New to Cisco WCS, i.e. fresh install.  We have a new install of v7.x WCS, with three admins.  Didn't find any reference to this issue in the Cisco docs/search.  Question/Statement is: If two users are logged in and making modifications to the same category, but not the same field, the last to save or commit wins.  The first to save, their changes will all be lost.  We experimented and found the to be true, but did not know if we had not properly configured our system.  Is this normal?  Is this system meant to be managed by only one person at a time?

Hi Troy,

Yes it's meant to be managed by one person at a time on a given part of the network. That's the reason of the "Virtual Domains" on WCS. You can have several admin users and you can restrict them to only access certain controllers/maps/APs.

I think it makes sense that 2 admins modifying the same part of config (i.e. on same controllers) at the same time is a big risk of screwing up the config :-)
