Has anyone successfully cracked the WEP key in a cisco Access point before? Noone documented what the WEP key is and I have several PC's that I dont want to reconfigure. Can someone suggest a workaround to getting the WEP key?
The weaknesses of WEP is not only with Cisco AP, any device that uses WEP could be compromise
Been from a security background I could only recommend that you use WPA/2 instead of WEP. As per your question it could take you more time to crack the WEP key then the actual reconfigure of each machine. By the way if you have legacy devices that are not able to migrate to WPA/2 is always recommended that every so often you reset the WEP key on your access point so it maybe a good time to do it now.

I have created a Powershell script to automatically add a Wireless Guest User on Cisco WLCs. (tested on 2500 Series)
The script should be completely self explanatory.
