Why MAC filters sent from WLSE does not work in Access Points?

I have a CWWLSE-1030-K9. Before the WLSE had the version 2.13 and upgrade to version 2.15.1.

The APs are AIR-AP1252AG-A-K9 with version c1250-k9w7-mx.124-10b.JA

Since the update of the WLSE, sending MAC filter with a Job-Templete of WLSE, users of these MACs can not authenticate, give her a "show running" and the MAC appears in the configuration

"username 041E64F31C5E password 7 <removed>
username 041E64F31C5E autocommand exit "

But the user can not connect, send the following message:

"Station 041e.64f3.1c5e authentication failure."

If I configure the MACs via CLI, directly at the AP, users connect with no problem.

When I do it from the WLSE, send the message described above.

I searched the Cisco website and can not find anything related to this issue.

Someone you know or something similar happened?

Thanks and regards.

Re: Why MAC filters sent from WLSE does not work in Access Point

Hi Jose,

I would personally test to copy all the commands directly from the configuration template on WLSE and paste them all in the AP's configuration.

This should exclude any possible mistypings in the configuration template, such as a blank space right after the user's password.

If this doesn't help, some very useful debugs that you could collect on the WDS AP are

debug aaa authentication

debug radius

Regards,

Fede
