We have Cisco MSE running wIPS mode.
Cisco wIPS cost: License for wIPS, Cost of MSE, License for WLC, LIcense for WCS and cost of AP to deploy. This is expensive package and it is still not comprehensive. So many false alerts...signatures get updated only when we upgrade the entire wireless package which is like once a year. Have no visibilty of packets, trends on what is hapenning in remote places.
After listening to the online Webinar...Airmagnet Enterprise has several features that seem to get better visibility.
Does products like Airmagnet Enterprise help? Do users deploy intandem with Cisco wIPS or standalone?
