Wireless Authentication using IAS in a Windows NT 4.0 environment
Cisco documentation highlights IAS querying Active Directory as the backend LDAP database for authentication in a wireless AP authentication scenario. Can this be done in an environment that still is on NT 4.0? Can IAS query an NT 4.0 domain and accomplish LEAP authentication?
Re: Wireless Authentication using IAS in a Windows NT 4.0 enviro
LEAP authentication requires Cisco Secure ACS or a CCX-Compliant radius server on the back end (i.e. Funk Steel Belted, Free Radius). IAS doesn't have the CCX extensions and can't process LEAP authentication requests.
Additionally, IAS runs on Win2k, not NT. Running a mixed mode domain - NT and 2K may provide the functionality, but IAS will have to be running on a Win2k server.

The 1st installment is a table of advanced filters. More filters will be added as time allows.
