Hi,
I have one WLC AIR-WLC4402-50-K9 which is hitting some bug. So I done RMA for that devices and now i got the new WLC.
Now i want to install that RMA WLC in network. So can any one tell me what is the process for installtion of WLC. I already have the old WLC in working now. So can you please tell which file backup i need to take from old WLC.
Thanks
Sunil

You need to backup the config from the existing and then upload to the new wlc. If you don't know how to perform an auto install, you will have to console into the new wlc and perform the initial setup. From there, you should be able to connect to the wlc and perform an upload configuration to controller.
Thanks,

Hmmmm ... This two statements contradict themselves. I've have NOT seen an IOS bug which requires an RMA. The only reason one would RMA the WLC is when you have a component failure.
If you have a component failure, chances are you won't be able to successfully boot the WLC for you to backup the config.
