WLSE upgrade from VxWorks to IOS changes SNMP string

When you upgrade the AP1200 from VxWorks to IOS, the upgrade process changes the SNMP Read-only string to "public" from whatever it was earlier. Anyone experianced that before. Please help!

Have not seen that. In Vxworks, All users with at least "snmp + admin" rights can be used as community strings. Before converted to IOS, does the AP have a user "public" exist?

I've had the same problem with the SNMP string changing.

The whole conversion process seems to be rocky (in my experience). I have different results between WLSE and the CAC tool. No matter what tool I use I still have to manually set some of the security settings...

Did you get a fix for this or you had to set it manually everytime? My customer has over 100 APs and if he has to change every AP settings manually that is a true inconvenience.

I haven't been able to get a fix and the TAC hasn't been any help.
