Introduction
Receiving error "error opening disk "directory already in use" error writing to disk " while saving configuration on FWSM
Error
We might come across this situation where we might not be able to modify the configuration on FWSM and receive this error
error opening disk "directory already in use"
Solution
To resolve this issue , you can use these steps:-
You can also run fsck command it will repair the bad sectors and will provide you with information.
1. Change the URL for the context to another name (temporarily solution)
2. Format the flash is it removes all configurations than do a "write memory all" to resave all FWSM context configurations.
