Core issue
The pdm location commands appear when adding Access Control List (ACL) entries in the PIX Device Manager (PDM).
Resolution
When you enter commands in the PDM, associated commands appear in the configuration. These added commands are not entered by the user, and they are necessary for the PDM to function properly. Perhaps the most common combination occurs when entering ACL rules. As new ACL commands are added, the PDM automatically adds the pdm location commands.
Note: This should have no effect on the security or performance of the PDM.
