What is web VPN?
WebVPN is a Virtual Private Network (VPN) connection that is established using a Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) capable web browser. A VPN connection provides a secure channel between a local machine (such as home computer) and a remote machine (such as office computer).
When to use web VPN?
WebVPN should be used when needing to access a computer (such as office computer) securely over the Internet from an unsecure location (such as home computer).
Problem:
This usually happens when " WebVPN Redirect via DNS "option is enabled in the configuration.
Solution
To resolve this issue,
Go to Configuration > System > Load Balancing. Uncheck the WebVPN Redirect via DNS option.
