The client connection gets terminated.

Resolution

The VPN Concentrator can terminate the client connection for various reasons, including the following:

• If the client does not respond to consecutive Dead Peer Detection (DPD) keepalive messages

• If the client is idle for a specified time (defined on the VPN Concentrator)

• If the client has been connected for a specific duration (defined on the VPN Concentrator)

If the error message is not caused by one of the above reasons, open a case with the Cisco Technical Assistance Center (TAC).
