When CSA 5.1 is used, the history triggers do not work for some hosts and CSA is not able to process custom allow rules. Rule generation is also affected

Core issue

This issue can occur due to the presence of  Cisco bug ID CSCse01731.

This happens when host history collection is enabled on CiscoWorks Management Center for Cisco Security Agents (CSA MC).

Resolution

For a workaround, try these steps:

  • Disable the host history collection on the status summary page in order to resolve this issue.
       
  • Or, go to Cisco Downloads and install the CSA hotfix  5.1.0.74 or later
