Adding new IDS 4235 to a running VMS 2.3

Hello,

I had a running VMS 2.3 and one IDS 4235 connected, the management station and the sensor have been updated to the latest signature and SP (S249 & S189 respectively) now I do need to add a new IDS to my network setup and therefore added to the VMS, here the problem, the new IDS running the recovery partition version 4.0(1) S37 and I tried to update its SP and Sig. from the MC but I got the error ?management center is already updated?.

Note:

Could I update the sensor from the CLI then added to the VMS (just suggestion)?!

Kindly advice the suitable way to update the new sensor!!

IDS MC has an older Signature, that is why its giving this error message. Go ahead and download the latest IDS MC updates.

The IDS MC already has been updated to the latest Sig. & SP as detailed in the above message.
