ASA Clientless VPN & ICA (Citrix)

We are currently using the Citrix Metaframe access via our VPN Clientless SSL Portal. Works, but the question we are now being faced with, is there a way to call a specific Citrix App?

It appears the only parameters one can pass is SSO, Color, Vert and Horiz resolution (screen size). Is there a way via bookmarking that we can solve the requirement?

TIA,

Jim

Re: ASA Clientless VPN & ICA (Citrix)

The security appliance performs the connectivity functions of a Citrix secure gateway when the Citrix client connects to the Citrix MetaFrame Server. Therefore, you must prepare the Citrix MetaFrame Server, as follows. Configure the Citrix Web Interface software to operate in a mode that does not use the (Citrix) secure gateway. Otherwise, the Citrix client cannot connect to the Citrix MetaFrame Server.

You can use the Citrix plugin to create bookmarks to the application on your portal. Once you have the plug-in installed as stated in the docs, you can use links like:

ica://citrix-server?InitialProgram=#Microsoft Office Powerpoint 2003&TWIMode=on
