Can you use Cisco Configuration Professional to manage your ISR's when they use TACAC's ?

Hi,

The default AAA authentication group is TACACS but I only seem to be able to "discover" the ISR when a local username & PW configured with priv 15 and the TACAC's is down / unreachable.

Any help appreciated

CCP is using http to log in the router and configure it.

So if you are using TACACS for http authentication you should be able to log in and configure the device with CCP using TACACS credentials.

You need to configure the http authentication via TACACS and also make sure you have priv-level set to 15 for the "User" on TACACS.

Would you be able to share the running config? We can see if there is a prob with the router config.
