Cisco VPN Clients 401 on Intel Centrino Processors

I am seeing a constant problem when installing the VPN client (401) on laptops with the centrino processors (mostly Gateways). After installing the VPN client, the wireless network connection dies and there is no way to get it back, unless u uninstall the VPN client. Then everything works again. Does uninstalling the Proset software drivers help? Anyone have the same issue?

Any input appreciated, thanks!

Re: Cisco VPN Clients 401 on Intel Centrino Processors

1. Get the Gateway Centrino driver update. The Cisco VPN software will not work without the update.

2. Make sure the PROSET/setup is in every user profile. The driver set up to be added in the user profile. Make sure you can see and connect to your access point.

3. Then load the VPN software.

It works for us.
