We manage several ASAs with CSM (4.2 SP1). Every once in awhile, we'll make a minor change to an ASA (like to an access rule), then attempt to deply the change. But the deploy hangs for several minutes, finally fails, and the ASA is then unreachable. The changes being deployed when this happens are extremely minor and are not changes having to do with CSM's own access to the ASA.
This is very annoying as we have to roll a vehicle to the site to manually restore the ASA from the console.
