Flexible Packet Matching (FPM) ???

Hi experts?

I'm a bit confused on FPM

class-map type stack match-all ICMPINIP

    stack-start l2-start

match field ETHER type eq 0×800 next IP

match field layer 2 IP protocol eq 1 next ICMP

why does these commands exactly mean?

if we have ICMP.phdf why we need this class-map? Couldn't we create directly as below (look for code in 3rd question):

I couldn't understand why we need above configuraion

2) if I have multiple policy-maps with different types, what i have to do?

Will it work if I nest one policy-map into anoher type of policy-map?

Will it work if I nest one class-map into anoher type of class-map?

3) why router sends only one log and not repeatedly? for multiple ping router send only one syslog message

class-map type access-control match-all ICMPES

match field ICMP type eq 8

match start ICMP payload-start offset 0 size 256 regex “.*AAAA.*”

My complete question :
