frequent VPN disconnects with "lost service" as reason

Since upgrading to 4.0.3 we now get frequent drops of multimple users (5-10 at a time) with the reason "lost service" in the RADIUS logs. Most clients come in on version 3.x of the VPN client. We have also just enabled "IPSec over NAT-T" in the config. HELP!

Re: frequent VPN disconnects with "lost service" as reason

The "lost service" reason for a client disconnect could be caused by several different issues but basically it pertains

to a layer one problem that was encountered. It could be an ISP loss of service, or an IP address change, or even a client PC freezing up or a hard reboot while the client was connected. This is an informational message and there really isn't much you can do (at least on the server end) to keep it from happening.I would try and find out all the details about what he/she is seeing on their end. Is their PC freezing up? Do they ever just power cycle their PC while connected to the VPN? What type of

internet conenction and how stable is it, ect..?
