LMS 3.1 Portlet critical message

Hello all,

I'm looking for a solution to send message (via script) to portlet Critical Message Windows (and eventualy delete it). Is it possible how can I do that?

I'm not really an expert at this, but if you click the '+' button on any of the LMS portal "Views" e.g. "DFM", it will let you add one of these

i) External Links

ii) IFRAME (External)

iii) RSS Feeds

You may utilize one of the above to achieve this, e.g. send you information to a dynamic page, and link that page/frame in LMS. But to be honest, I've never tried this.
