I'm pretty sure you can add DFM just fine. On Solaris, for example, simply rerun "setup.sh", then choose the following when prompted:

2) Custom installation. For advanced users.
Select components to be installed.
Enter Admin, Guest, System Identity Account, Database passwords for new installation.
Retains them for upgrade and reinstallation.

Then choose the appropriate option for DFM (# 9 below) when prompted, to add it to your existing LMS installation:

1) Common Services 3.3
2) LMS Portal 1.2
3) CiscoWorks Assistant 1.2
4) CiscoView 6.1.9
5) Integration Utility 1.9
6) Resource Manager Essentials 4.3
7) Campus Manager 5.2
8) Device Fault Manager HPOV-Netview adapters 3.2
9) Device Fault Manager 3.2
10) Internetwork Performance Monitor 4.2
11) All of the above
---Add-On Applications--------------------------------
12) Health and Utilization Monitor 1.2
------------------------------------------------------

You are right, I got it. You can get it doing a software backup before rerun the setup.

Thank you very much for your help.

Regards

Glad to help. There's actually a hidden option to skip the "mandatory" backup: "setup.sh -b nobackup" (Solaris) or "setup.exe nobackup" (Windows), in case you feel particularly darinng with the install.
