Hi
We are looking for a management solution for a 4 location site-to-site VPN based on PIX 520's and Remote Access VPN's at 3 sites based on VPN 3000 concentrators.
Is the CWVMS-2.1-WINR-K9 overkill for this size? Also what will it not do for us? Can this product suppply software updates to the concentrators?
Thanks in advance.

As mentioned earlier, VMS bundle comes with RME which has several features. Once them is the ability to upgrade the software and that includes Concentrators. If you look at 'Table 3: Concentrators Supported in Essentials 3.4' at: http://www.cisco.com/univercd/cc/td/doc/product/rtrmgmt/cw2000/cw2000e/e_3_x/3_4/dev_sup/e3_4.htm#44293 you will see the concentrator modles supported by RME 3.4 and 'Software Management' column says 'Supported' which means that it can upgrade the software on concentrators as well.

VMS is a bundle of application and contains several different application, each with it's own functionality. You may want to look at: http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/cc/pd/wr2k/vpmnso/ which gives an overview of the bundle in general and provides links to individual components for more details on their functionality. RME which is part of this has a feature which allows the user to upgrade the software on device including concentrators.

OK I had a look at that and it mentions updating routers and switches but nothing about Concentrators?
