Does anyone know if there is an OID that will report on the status of the Trend URL filtering Service. Due to some issue at Trend, the URL filtering keeps failing and so far the only way we know about it is when users complain of slow internet connections.
I don't think there is any MIB for this. You can script out the status of the "show ip trm subscription status:" command via SSH or some other method.
Or use any TCP/HTTP Status application like 'smonitor' to periodically check the return code. E.g. if you know www.badwebsite.com will always be blocked by the URL-filter, you can check for the 'trend micro blocked' (or whatever) message periodically (But this might not always work due to caching issues)
