Migrate SecurityK9 license to new device

Hello.

We have a 2911/K9 Router, with a SecurityK9 license to establish IPSec VPNs to our private cloud.

The device must be returned to its original owner, but the SecurityK9  license was purchased by us.

We are about to purchase a new device (2911/K9, identical to the old one) and would like to migrate the SecurityK9 license to this new device.

My questions are:

1- Is it possible to transfer this SecurityK9 license from the old device to the new one?

2- Would you please guide me in the right direction on how to do it?

License transfer is generally only allowed in the event of a hardware failure and RMA under a support contract.

Once purchased and tied to a given device, feature licenses aren't considered portable.
