Printer setup over vpn prob

We have a remote site connected via a 3002 hardware vpn. Users on the site can use thin clients to connect to the central site, but they are unable to connect to a printer queue set up on a 2003 server on their site. They can connect to the server but the printer fails to install when selected.

Does anyone have any ideas?

We think it's the protocol for the network printer that will not travel over the vpn link.

If you clients are able to ping the printer, you should be able to print to it. If the ping to the printer itself fails, you should have a look at the docment at http://www.cisco.com/warp/public/471/vpn-net-hood.html.
