VPN 3000 Client 3.6.2 A, Very slow connection

I am at the end of a migration of ~1500 users from VPN 5000 to VPN 3000 and now cleaning up the "problem cases".

I have 2 users that connect via DSL thru a linksys firewall and are experancing very slow connections. Very slow is defined as 30 seconds to open a program window on VPN 3000 but only 2 seconds to open the same window on a VPN 5000 connection. This is across NT, 2000 and XP. This week end I am having the users update the IOS in the Linksys then try again. Any other ideas?

It seems that there were problems encountered while connecting to a concentrator from behind a Linksys device ( Bug CSCdw90526- TCP/UDP encapsulation uses same IP ID for multiple packets). The problem apparently was due to the LInksys devices having problems handling large packets which had been fragmented. The slow connectivity you might be seeing might be an endproduct of this. I guess upgrading the IOS on the Linksys might be your best bet for now.
