The VPN connection works fine and we can access the small business server files using Start > Run > \\XXXXXXXX as the path. However, if the user permissions are changed to allow access to more files/folders it appears that Windows on the remote station 'remembers' the previous user rights and will not allow access to the new files or folders. Even if the user is given a new user name and password for the VPN login the previous user rights appear to be stored somewhere on the local workstation. How do I clear the 'memory' on the local station so that the user can now access the new files/folders that they have been given rights to?
