VPN Concentrator as a client VPN

Hi,

I have a CISCO VPN Concentrator 3005 and i wonder if i can do this:

i user in his place wants to connect to a remote site. He launches the application he wants (not any VPN software) to work and he can reach to the other side. In comunications i have the VPN Concentrator that when receives a request to a specific network he 'emulates' a VPN client connection to the other site. The other site does not support LAN-to-LAN configuration. The tunnel is then 'up'.

Is it possible?

Regards

Re: VPN Concentrator as a client VPN

1.Remove the crypto map from the interface.

2.Create the tunnel interfaces.

int tunnel

ip address private_ip subnet_mask

tunnel source outside_interface_name

tunnel destination peer_address

3.Modify the crypto access list as shown below.

access-list acl_name permit gre host tunnel_source_ip host peer_address

4.Use routing protocol or configure a static route for the remote LAN with the next hop pointing to the tunnel interface.

5.Reapply the crypto map to the physical interface and the tunnel interface.
