apply the command "fixup protocol pptp 1723" on the pix.

just wondering what version is running on the pix. the command introduced at v6.3.

unfortunately, there is no workaround except the os upgrade.

If you are sitting behind a firewall, ensure correct ports are enabled to allow outbound access to the remote location. Typically the ports will be UDP 4500, 10000, 50-51, and 500.

This assumes a cisco vpn client using ipsec.
