WebVPN 12.4(9)T on Cisco 871

Hy,

for the webvpn gateway i need a IP. The prob is that i get my dialer0 IP dynamicly. So wehen i get a new one webvpn stops working. What should I do??

Hi

If the webvpn gateway is a seperate box then try to get an ip allocated for the same so that the same can be reachable from the outside world for establishing the vpn tunnel.

Or if your 871 itself is acting as a vpn box then try to get a static ip mapped to your userid which you use to logon to the SP network..

untill otherwise you have a static ip it wont be possible to establish the dynamic VPN connections.

Hi Alex,

under IOS 12.4(11)T2 there is the ip interface command under the webvpn gateway command which i use for my ADSL dynamic IP.

Maybe it's also available under your version as well.

thx for you`re replay. When i`m in the vpn gateway config mode, I have the ip interface comand. But what shuld i enter behind. Whats the compled command.
