WebVPN (3005) filtering MIME types?

Hello, I have configured the WebVPN on 3005s to visit an internal HTTP site with instructions how to upgrade the VPN client.

This works.

The instructions have download links to the VPN client installtion binaries which is hosted on the same web server.

This does not work.

Whether an EXE or a ZIP, the web browser cannot find the file. When accessing the same web site internally, the problem does not exist, so the hyperlinks are indeed good.

If I renamed the file to have an unknown extension, it still would not download the file, but if I uploaded a text file, and called it something.txt, it would read its contents.

I Googled WebVPN and MIME, and there are some reference to how the WebVPN filters MIME types. I could not find any information about how that is done or its effects.

Does any one out there know anything about how WebVPN filters MIME types, and how one might tweak these filters?
