WebVPN capture tool on VPN Concentrator Rel 4.7

Our client is facing an issue everytime they are starting the mediabin application thru WebVPN. Accdg to the appl vendor, the VPN Concentrator tries to modify the url upon startup.

Now, in order for us to capture the url activity on the client end during the initial phase, we have to enable the VPN Concentrator tool.

After we have done the said procedures, we are just wondering why the supposed captured files (mangled.* & original.*) are not getting generated. These files will help us to analyze the said issue.

Does anyone can guide us on this issue? Pls advice. TIA.

Core issue

The Cisco VPN 3000 series concentrator mangles the web pages that do not work properly with Java and Javascript. As a result, the pages do not load properly.

Java is not compatible with WebVPN on Cisco VPN 3000 series concentrators.

Resolution

As a workaround, use web pages without Java code.

Since the first issue was related to bug (java based apps doesn't work well with VPN Conc 4.7).

What abt the issue "not generating system generated files namely mangle.* & original.*

Any idea? TIA.
