WebVPN for SSL VPN

I have been trying to make use of webvpn feature of SSL without the Anyconnect one.

I have configured it correctly as per documents, but lately i find that there is something known as DAP which actually sort of controls the access to webvpn.

Is this true & why is it necessary to use DAP.Cant we still run this with normal configuration.

Kindly advise.

Thanks.

Re: WebVPN for SSL VPN

On the ASA platform, there is no requirement for you to deploy DAP policies. You can use the DAP feature to provide for very granular control over what authenticated users are authorized to access. You can combine DAP with Cisco Secure Desktop to perform endpoint inspection and posture assessment. Please see the DAP deployment guide below for more info.
