Which physical interface asacx use on 5512-X?

I am totally new to implement Cisco ASACX on ASA5512-X. I was able to get the boot image loaded. Next step asks to run setup command on asacx and assign it an IP address so that it can reach ftp server to download the software image.

Which subnet this IP comes from? Inside interface subnet or management 0/0 subnet? How does asacx route packet to ASA to reach the FTP server?

Thanks in advance,

The CX module uses the

The CX module uses the physical Management0/0 port on the ASA 5512-X. It requires its own unique IP address on that interface. If you're already using M0/0 on the ASA, the address needs to be in the same subnet so the gateway will be reachable and route traffic to/from the CX address.

This is explained in more detail in the ASA CX Module Quick Start Guide.
