100MB Ethernet link possible to GLC-T in a WS-X6724-SFP on 6509?

I've got to 6509s with Sup720s running 12.2(18)SXF8 at two different sites and want to link them via 100MB metro ethernet. I can't seem to get a link on the GLC-T; will the line card not support anything below 1GB?

Friend,

The GLC-T module is a 1000baseT module but can be used to connect a ME link of 100 Mbps

when you confiure the link, make sure the bandwidth statement reflects the correct bandwidth under the interface and all QoS and routing protocol decisions are taken acoording to that.

I have terminated a ME link of 45Mbps on a gig port and is working fine.

HTH, rate if it does
