I have a new shelf of HP Blades using Cisco 3120 switches, my question is I normally have 1/0/1-16 and 2/0/1-16 to say vlan 84 which connect to NIC 1 and NIC2, I then have 4 vlans striped across switch ports on slots 5,6,7,8 see attachment, what happens to the mappings if stack numbers are not the same like 1 is 1 , 2 is 2 , 4 is 4 and so on, do the interfaces on the switches still map to the mezz slot and NIC's ??
