5596 Module Numbering

Hi,

Can anyone provide information regarding the Nexus 5596, and how the numbering for slot/port etc will be on a

Nexus 5596, which will have two 16 port expansion modules and L3 module in the unit. Can't see anything

online which mentions the top left module has this slot/port number etc.

Thnx

5596 Module Numbering

Not sure about documentation but can tell you from what I see in my lab 5596. Module 1 is the base fixed ports. Top left is module 2, the middle one is module 3 and the top right module 4. In my switch I have a L3 card in top left slot, Ethernet module in middle slot and right slot is empty.
