best solution for incomind mac-filter-list on ethernet interface

whitch would be best solution for filtering all incoming mac-addresses to allow access to only one ore two destination-mac-addresses, bridged by tranparent-bridging over ethernet.

very good solution for tokenring is "access-expression input dmac(<access-list>)"

Re: best solution for incomind mac-filter-list on ethernet inter

give this a try, I haven't testted it:

access-list 701 permit abcd.ef01.2345 0000.0000.0000

access-list 701 permit 1234.5678.90ab 0000.0000.0000

access-list 701 deny 0000.0000.0000 ffff.ffff.ffff

int type number

bridge-group 1 output-address-list 701

If bridging is enabled this should work stright up. If this is a routed interface I presume you may have to play around with IRB...

let me know how you go...

Steve.
