Can a server have a slow response because of the Cisco etherchannel?

<p>Users from another city are complaining of slow response from a server that has the NIC cards teamed

on the etherchannel, but I did not have the etherchannel set on the 6509.

Can the lack of etherchannel on the switch while the server was on etherchannel cause the slow response?

Absolutely. If the NIC is configured for etherchannel, the switch needs to be configured as well.
